The Mehta Family

Nandini Mehta (Female Lead): 24 years old. An exceptionally bright, quiet, and resilient woman finishing her final year of graduation. Having survived a childhood of emotional neglect, she is highly observant, self-reliant, and carries a quiet dignity. She possesses a severe allergy to coriander and bears the emotional and physical scars of a traumatic past that she keeps fiercely guarded.

Nakul Mehta: 53 years old. Nandini’s father. A traditional, pragmatic businessman who views life through the lens of societal status and corporate alliances. He chose convenience over his eldest daughter’s emotional well-being, delegating her upbringing to financial provisions.

Sarah Mehta: 46 years old. Nandini’s stepmother. Elegant, sharp, and intensely protective of her own biological children. She maintained her vow of providing Nandini with luxury while completely withholding affection, ensuring her twins remained the sole focus of the family's love.

Aarav & Aisha Mehta: 18 years old. The twins. Pampered, celebrated, and deeply attached to their mother. Due to Sarah's pervasive influence, they view Nandini less as an elder sister and more as a distant, quiet fixture of the household whose achievements require no acknowledgement.

Sarala Mehta (Dadi): 76 years old. The family matriarch whose traditional outlook forced Nakul’s remarriage. Years later, she carries the quiet weight of regret for the emotional isolation it caused her eldest granddaughter.

Nandini also had Chacha, Anshuman Mehta and Chachi, Anushka Mehta, but they live abroad with their son, Naman Mehta.

The Malhotra Family

Manik Malhotra (Male Lead): 27 years old. The eldest son and grandson of the Malhotra conglomerate, the chief business rivals of the Mehtas. Manik is sharp, highly intelligent, disciplined, and possesses a commanding presence in the corporate world. Beneath his reserved exterior lies a deeply perceptive and honourable man who values integrity above all else.

Nyonika Malhotra: 51 years old. Manik’s mother. A warm, perceptive matriarch who values character over lineage.

Aniket Malhotra (Chacha) & Pallavi Malhotra (Chachi): The extended pillars of the Malhotra household, maintaining a traditional, tight-knit family structure.

Kriti Malhotra: 23 years old. Manik’s younger sister. Vivacious, kind, and welcoming.

Ayushi Malhorta: 22 years old. Manik’s younger cousin sister. Energetic, kind and sweet.

Rohit Malhotra: 21 years old. Manik’s youngest cousin brother. Energetic and deeply loyal to his family.
